Whispering Jackie burst out of the Sydney DIY scene in early 2016, playing music that's honest and full of reckless abandon. Fronted by Sare Jackie the trio's pronounced 90s sound is a mixture of punk, garage and grunge reminiscent of Magic Dirt, Sonic Youth and Hole. The band’s strong lyrical message and dynamic live performance have made them a favourite on the local Sydney punk-rock scene.
